Issue Position

Education is a foundation to a vibrant society and robust economy. We need to ensure that quality education is available. Our institutions need to be supported but also held accountable for quality and cost. At the state level, we must ensure that children across the state are provided the opportunity for a quality education while retaining local control. At the post secondary level, we need to maintain a competitive university and college system while finding ways to minimize the spirally costs that few students can afford and where state resources are constrained.
